Hot Melt Embedding Method
Hot melt embedding is the most common embedding method of brass inserts, usually with hot melt machine and artificial electric soldering iron embedding.
The hot melt embedding method has the advantages of good flexibility, strong consistency, high performance and affordable price. This method has become the preferred option for the assembly of brass inserts into plastic parts in many applications


Injection Embedding in Film
This embedding method is to put the brass insert into the mold, plastic injection plastic wrap the outer wall of the brass insert, after cooling can be combined with the plastic part.
This embedding method can achieve the best bonding strength, but relatively high cost compared to other methods.
Press-in Type
Cold Pressed: Cold pressing is directly pressed into plastic without heating. The cold pressing process is mainly used for some thermosetting plastics. Are a very economical option because they are easy to install and usually do not require special equipment.
Expansion Embedding: Expanded brass inserts feature grooves on the sides that allow elastic deformation when pressed. When the screw is screwed in, the expanded brass insert side wall is forced to open outwards, creating an occlusal contact with the inner wall of the hole


Self-tapping Embedding
Self-tapping brass inserts provide the best pull resistance to plastic holes, and external threads are thin profile designed to minimize stress in plastic.
Mainly used in PC material and other hard plastics, in order to prevent the nut and plastic after the combination of cracking or stress release, the use of self-tapping brass inserts is a good solution, using ordinary power tools can be installed

Brass Inserts: Copper has good thermal conductivity and easy workability, so brass inserts are the most widely used metal inserts.The common brass type used by FINEX is C3604 brass or lead-free copper. The lead content is less than 50PPM, and the material meets the EU ROHS standard
Stainless Steel Inserts: Stainless steel inserts have higher hardness and wear resistance, and stainless steel has better anti-rust performance than brass in the workplace with higher anti-rust requirements. Commonly used easy turning stainless steel model SUS303 or SUS316F
